my background
My childhood consisted of ~10 years of hip-hop classes and figure skating lessons. In 2012, I was diagnosed with severe scoliosis, which led me to start physical therapy and moving my body. I started taking group fitness classes (Barre, Pilates, TRX, Cardio Dance and Zumba) in 2015 and fell in love with being a student. In 2019, I started teaching Zumba. After years of struggling with social anxiety and unable to do school presentations, I never expected to stand in front of a class and teach. In 2020, I began my journey as a personal trainer with NASM.
Although I have always been active throughout my 25 years of life, my love for fitness grew immensely once I discovered the weight room in my high school gym, and ever since then my fitness journey has flourished. I hope to provide a fun and welcoming, but also challenging, workout environment to all clients.
Aside from my fitness background, I am a psychology major, a PN1-SSRC (stress coach), and PN1-NC (nutrition coach). My dream career since middle school has been a LMHC. I love being there for people and giving them advice, as well as psychoanalyzing. The way the brain works has always been fascinating to me. I always say mind and body go hand-in-hand, so I decided to create BINDZONE (a zone for your body & mind) to combine both of my passions into one place. Fitness is my outlet for any stress and chronic pain in my life, so my hope is to allow it to be your outlet as well by creating a safe space for you with our team and members!
niche: muscular hypertrophy, scoliosis-safe fitness, improving one's general fitness

ABOUT BRITTANY
Instructor
certifications: Zumba B1
my background
I have been dancing for 20 years of my life - from the age of 5 up until 25. My background in dance consisted of jazz, tap, ballet, and hip hop. The reason why I chose dance is because I always knew I would love to teach. One day, I decided to try out a Zumba class, and what I didn’t know at the time was that Zumba would be an opportunity to do just that. I have dedicated this past year (2025) to obtaining my Zumba instructors license. Now here I am trying something a little out of my comfort zone and stepping into a leadership role. I am so excited and can’t wait to see where this journey takes me.
